Dear family and friends,
I’m changing my email address. I’ll no longer be using trailwalker444@yahoo.com,
dave@couplands.net, or dave@computerchallenge.org. Please send all future email
to david@couplands.net.
I’m changing my name. After six months away from “Dave” I
find I’m tired of it and it doesn’t seem to fit anymore, so henceforth
I’ll be using “David”. My parents and grandparents called
me David, it’s a name that connects me with my early life. It’s
not about being more formal, but it may be about feeling somewhat changed myself.
Thank you for your understanding.
I’m changing my career. I realized on the Trail that my calling is teaching
and youth. I plan to go back to school beginning in January to get a teaching
certificate. I hope to begin teaching high school math or physics beginning
in September 2006.
I’m keeping my beard.
